We are a group for photographers of all abilities based in Corsham, Wiltshire although we have members from surrounding towns and villages. We meet every other Tuesday from September to July with breaks for Christmas and Easter. Unless otherwise indicated all our meetings are held in the large meeting room at 3 Church Street, Corsham, SN13 0BY. We hold practical sessions, have occasional guest speakers and 'out and about' visits. We have a friendly in-house competition once a month based on a specific subject theme. The idea being to encourage members to get out and use their cameras.
Whether you are an enthusiastic beginner or more experienced photographer and whether you use a camera or a mobile phone, we guarantee you a warm welcome. Currently the membership fee is £50 per annum with a 50% reduction for members joining after 31 December.
Guests are welcome to come along to our meetings for a small fee, currently £2.50, to find out what we do and to see if they would like to join.
Corsham is an attractive town situated in north Wiltshire and has been the location for many films and series, including Poldark and The Suspicions of Mr Whicher. The town is well known for the many peacocks that roam around freely. Hence the peacock on the club’s logo.
